Reprap electronics.

You can find numerous ways to gather all your electronics. For anyone who wants to read the whole story I would suggest you check out this Wiki.

Basically a set consists of these components:

· The Computer/Reprap interface, usually built on an Arduino board.
· Four stepper motor drivers to control the motors for the extruder
   and the 3 translation axis.
· 4 DC stepper motors
· At least 3 opto endstops to prevent collisions...
·
A heater for the extruder
· A temperature sensor for the extruder
·
Sometimes a controller board that combines the control for the
   heater and the temperature sensor.
· optional you can choose a heated printbed for which you would
need heaters and a temperature sensor.

It started by buying a RepRap Monolithic Electronics Set from
Techzone Communications.
This looked a lot better than the sets that use seperate stepper motor drivers. Drivers for this hardware can be found
here. In my case (Windows 7 64bit) the drivers were not found automatically.
